Wiley Smith is a 2026 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Forsyth, GA who attends Mary Persons. Features a larger frame with some physicality and projection. Ran a 7.82 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed a quality approach. Avg. quickness with the first step but gains some momentum into reception. Fields it clean and out front and uses a full/loose AA that got off throws with solid arm strength and carry. At his defensive workout at SS, he showed CINF actions. It's avg. foot quickness and range but fields it clean with present glove feel/skill. At 1B is where his actions fit the best during workouts. Hands showed the same softness and his feet worked well especially on DP turns. At the plate, he sits in a wider stance with loose hands. Hands load into a lower launch and upright barrel with some quality separation. His strong hands throw the barrel on an uphill path with some consistent out front contact. Some inconsistency with timing but showed some quality lift and impact to the pullside.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
