Giovanni Molina is a 2024 OF/C with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Plantation, FL who attends Sagemont Upper. Tall, lean frame with a lot of room to continue adding onto the build. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder with good fundamentals. Deliberate movements on the charge, fields the ball cleanly off the front foot, clean exchange, shorter arm action to a high three-quarters release. Throws had carry and accuracy to the bag, recorded throws up to 77 mph. Had some stiffness to the actions. Right-handed hitter, starts in an upright stance, swing is simple, stays short to the baseball with a direct barrel path. Showed the ability to impact the ball to the middle of the field consistently. Can get the barrel out front and hit line drives to the pull-side as well. Not a lot of jump off the barrel which should come as he continues to add strength onto the frame. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
