Austin Molsberger is a 2025 1B/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Longwood, FL who attends Lake Mary. Long high waisted athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a tight hand load, has a pretty short and direct swing and finds the barrel regularly, works to all fields with line drive contact, projects well as a hitter with additional strength. 7.66 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has clean glove work and makes accurate throws. Took a turn on the mound, medium leg raise and tuck with a short and direct stride down the mound, throws from a high 3/4's slot, has good tempo to his delivery and repeats well. Curveball was his best pitch, gets some 12/6 shape, throws it for strikes at any and all counts. Fastball topped out at 78 mph and was thrown for strikes as well, had an efficient outing. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
