Tyler Caperton is a 2028 SS/RHP, C, MIF, OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Brandy Station, VA who attends Eastern View. Medium, lean build with a good amount of room to continue adding strength. 7.08 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Switch hitter, same setup from both sides with a medium base and slightly open front side with high hands, nice flow to the swing with small leg lift trigger, quick hands and gets the barrel out front routinely to impact to the pull-side. On the barrel often with more power coming as he adds strength. Primary shortstop, good range and bounce to the actions, glove gets down early and works through grounders nicely. Has ability to throw from multiple arm angles with accuracy, recorded throws across up to 73 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, small side step into a belt high leg lift, long arm path in the back to a high three-quarters release point. Generates carry up in the zone with the fastball, up to 78 mph (1873 RPM). Flashed a curveball, up to 67 mph (2120 RPM), with tight 11-5 shape. Athletic and projects on the mound. Tremendous student.
