James Levy is a 2026 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Pacific Palisades, CA who attends Palisades Charter. Long and lanky frame showing lean strength and upside for the frame. 7.71 60-yd. A primary pitcher, the body and arm action project well. Full and clean stroke with a lower slot release that gives the fastball life through the zone. Slurvy action to the breaking ball but will tighten up giving sharp two plane break. Pretty athletic with a lot more coming as the body physically matures, already around the zone. Athletic actions on the infield showing sound glove actions and solid range to the baseball. Threw from a lower slot which sapped some strength and accuracy. From First-Base showed fair range and some ability to catch the ball hit to his range. As the frame continues to grow and becomes more coordinated, first-base skills will improve. Stays tall at the plate with an even base and fluid stride transferring his weight well. Showed pullside lift and more batspeed available. For the hit tool to develop quickly can make adjustments to be more consistent with the lower half. Showed the skills well during games and upside in the skills available.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
