Dash Long is a 2028 C/1B/3B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Nashville, TN who attends Martin Luther King Jr Magnet Pearl. Medium young build with some strength for his age and more to come. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow and open stance and a high hand load, has a big hand drop into a long stride into contact, lots of moving parts to time up but he does it well, showed bat speed with quick hands and solid pull side line drive contact, good bet to keep getting better offensively, 7.50 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up side saddle, has a clean transfer and is consistent with his footwork and release, makes accurate throws with developing arm strength, shows athleticism in his actions and some polish for his age. Excellent student.
