Michael Scarpa is a 2027 1B/LHP/OF with a 5-10 220 lb. frame from Saratoga, CA who attends Valley Christian Schools. Features a thicker and physical build with strength. Ran a 8.17 60-yd dash. At 1B, showed quality footwork for his size. Good coming off the bag and feet move to and through the baseball but is a bit tall with fielding posture. Confident and sure glove work and showed his ability to pick it. Quality arm strength with accuracy as well. At the plate, sits in an even base and uses a heel turn trigger. Shows easy strength to the swing working the barrel on an uphill path with consistent out front intent. Present above avg. bat speed for his level. Showed lift and impact to the pull side as well as feel for the barrel.
