Ethan Valdez is a 2025 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-0 179 lb. frame from Boerne, TX who attends Cornerstone Christian. Posted a 6.93 in the 60. Primary OF is a medium frame with developing athleticism. Soft approach in the outfield with some feel for the glove. Long release and arm action with some strength and carry to it to build on. On the mound the right-hander peaked his fastball at 74 mixing a soft breaking ball with some 12/6 bite to it. Room to refine on the mound as he matures, the low effort arm has great upside as he adds quickness and strength to his pitchability. Right-handed hitter worked to all fields with line drive pop. Feel for the barrel is progressing, the process is repeatable and showed knowledge of timing and the zone. Gets separated with some release of the barrel, should continue to develop effectively with added impact. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
