Lawsen Hensley is a 2026 MIF/RHP, C, OF with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Sioux Falls, SD who attends Roosevelt. Slender athletic frame. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder with footwork directly to the baseball, fields it clean out front, some ability to move laterally to make the routine play and a solid average throwing arm with some accuracy. Behind the plate showed a high set up with developing footwork, a quick transition and an accurate throwing arm. Hit from an even base at the plate with slow load and toe tap timing. Has some quickness in the swing, swings uphill some staying compact through the zone. Spins on the backside, shows some raw ability to work with and get in sync at the plate. On the mound started from a semi windup delivery with slight drop and drive mechanics. Crossfire arm action with a three-quarter arm slot. Hides the ball well helping his low to mid 70's fastball play up, a pitch that has some arm side sink to it. Breaking ball is a developing curveball that he can land in the zone. Threw plenty of strikes and should continue to improve as he adds size and refines his mechanics on the mound.
