Oscar Hickey is a 2026 OF/RHP/SS with a 6-2 168 lb. frame from Charlottesville, VA who attends St. Anne's-Belfield. Tall well developed frame for a young athlete with a lot of time to continue to add physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in a respectable 7.44 seconds for his age and size. Primary OF, moving well on his feet with some hop to him and working the glove out front. Deep midline gather in transition with compact arm action showing throws up to 84 back to the infield. Secondary RHP, working from 3B side of rubber, showing good rhythm and timing to his operation. Hands just below the chest at break and medium leg lift gets him down the mound. Clean linear direction to foot strike and full turn from core to generate 3/4 arm speed. FB up to 79 mph with sinking action, SL up to 68 mph with elite spin profile up to over 2,500 rpms. Filled up the zone well, hitters do not see his spin and he is just beginning to realize his potential here. RHH with solid balanced start, getting good load with the hands and slight shift to front side upon attack. Will lean back from time to time losing the barrel but when he stayed on ball and got full lower body turn the ball jumped. Good power projection with the stick. Very young but athletic and high level potential to be an impact two-way player.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
