Andrew Carter is a 2024 OF/RHP/SS with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Damien. Long and lean build broad shouldered build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a short stride into contact, throws his hips well into his swing, wrapped barrel load, has a flat line drive swing plane with some barrel lag, showed nice barrel control and the ability hit to all fields, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger. 7.11 runner in the sixty. Has a long arm swing in the outfield with a lower arm slot, tends to get under his throws. Also pitched, has solid on line mechanics with a quick arm and a low effort release. Filled up the zone with a fastball that topped out at 87 mph and a short curveball. Young athlete who will continue to improve in all areas. Excellent student.
