Aiden Connelly is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Prior Lake, MN who attends Lakeville South. Bigger athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.90 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has athleticism moving to the ball but too large a crow hop at present, tends to throw uphill with a low elbow release on his throws, should have the athleticism to continue to improve with coaching and fundamentals. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow and straight stance with a tight hand load, has some rhythm to his load, works the middle of the field with a line drive swing, best on pitches down in the zone. Took a turn on the mound, throws from a straight over the top arm action from a multi-piece delivery that he repeated well. Filled up the strike zone with a fastball that topped out at 75 mph and was mostly straight, primary fastball pitcher who mixed in an occasional soft curveball. Excellent student.
