Cohen Rappleyea is a 2029 SS/RHP, C with a 5-3 118 lb. frame from Durham, NC who attends Voyager Academy. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, has room to grow and develop physically moving forward. Ran an 8.66 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows quickness to footwork on the move, adjusts to the hop well and fields the ball out front, makes the plays consistently, lower slot on throws with accuracy that continued to develop throughout round. Also pitched, sound mechanical operation and repeated delivery well; worked mostly off of a fastball in this look, topped out at 66 mph, competes on the mound and mixed a curveball up to 54 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate with a narrow base; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Stays short to the ball from launch with a fuller finish through the ball, occasionally gets to front side early with weight shift. Worked to the middle of the field and the other way, keeps hands inside the ball, will continue to unlock more with additional extension out front.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
