Tyler Spangler is a 2026 SS/2B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends De La Salle. Outstanding athletic build, long and lean with some present strength and big physical projection remaining. Left handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a high hand load, drives his hands well, upper body rotational swing with good extension, loose swing with lots of bat speed and whip at contact, worked gap to gap with nice carry, polished hitting tools. 6.56 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, fields the ball cleanly, good glove to the backhand, made accurate throws with some carry, balanced charging the ball. Outstanding student. Verbal commitment to Stanford. Selected to play in the 2025 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
