Conor Dietz is a 2028 LHP/OF with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Wading River, NY who attends Shoreham-Wading River. Lengthy, lean frame with plenty of time and room to fill out. Recorded a 7.80 second sixty-yard dash time. Showed a developing defensive skill set during outfield drills, where he used anticipatory footwork to field off to the side. Worked through the baseball with good pace, exhibited fairly clean transfers and worked slightly uphill into release. Produced accurate throws with developing arm strength up to 69 mph. Left-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a pre-set hand start and small forward stride into launch. Elongated swing path with developing bat speed and feel for the barrel. Mostly pullside contact with rotational lower half mechanics. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.
