Mace Wheeler is a 2025 C/RHP, SS with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from El Cajon, CA who attends Valhalla. Features an athletic frame. Primary catcher with a comfortable set up. Has quick feet and transfer. Arm action stays short and quick with accuracy. Strong pop time at 1.87 with 78 velocity. Athleticism jumped out throughout the round and in game play. At the plate he has a wide base with a high back elbow and subtle leg lift. Gets extended with a middle of the field approach and lofted path. Does a good job incorporating the lower half in the swing. Bat speed is present, keeping everything on a line. Ran a 7.40 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Was named to the 2023 California Prospect Showcase top player list.
