Anthony Grippo is a 2026 C/UT with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Mount Pleasant, PA who attends Greensburg Central. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean build, has some present strength and additional room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, one knee down receiving in drills, quick coming out of the crouch and shows clean actions, receives the ball out front, quick transfer into a shorter arm action, can gain even more ground with lower half, big time arm strength and carry on throws down to second base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a bigger stride moving into contact. Full swing path through the zone, swings with intent and employs a middle of the field approach. Looks to get extended otu front and shows some hand speed in path, looks to lift, occasionally gets uphill with path. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
