Joe Duke is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF, IF with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Tacoma, WA who attends Wilson. Features a smaller/lean frame with plenty of room/time to add. Ran a 5.13 40-yd dash. In the INF, he showed some initial lightness to his feet but some stiffness later in his actions. He did work through the ball but with some stabby glove actions and a present glove tap. Showed a shorter arm action that worked to a 3/4 slot that flashed some easy carry across and accuracy. Probably more in the arm that what he showed. Exhibited more corner INF actions. At the plate, sits in a balanced stance with some slight pre-engagement in his backside. It's a simple overall stroke with minimal waisted movement. Uses a smaller forward stride that gets his foot down early along with a smaller takeback of the hands which helps for consistent timing. Hands/hips flashed some quickness with a barrel that works direct to the baseball. Results were mostly barrels through the middle of the field but with just avg. impact/power for his level. Was named to Top Prospects List.
