Blake Morningstar is a 2023 RHP with a 6-5 210 lb. frame from New Albany, PA who attends Wyalusing Valley. Plus pitcher's body with both length and strength, lots of projectabiilty remaining. High leg raise delivery, long and high arm takeaway in back with a 3/4's arm slot coming through, some energy at release. Fastball worked in the low 90's and topped out at 94 mph, gets nice sink and run at times. Curveball was an excellent pitch with good power and big spin, big sweeping action, lands it for strikes and has feel for the pitch, dominated with the curveball but got plenty of Swing/Miss on the fastball as well. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Wake Forest.
