Raul Gutierrez is a 2024 OF/2B, 3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Homestead, FL who attends Coral Reef Senior. A medium build in a compact frame. Ran a 6.89 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder charges it with choppy footwork working in the throws. Open the front side thru release from a 3/4 arm slot. Fields the ball off the front foot with one-hop and two-hop accuracy. Fields low to the ground with a full arm stroke and good direction working through release. Clean exchange into throws at 74 mph. Had a great catch in the outfield in-game running one down in left field with a quick first-step. Also worked out as an infielder, starting low to the ground. Waits on the ball and then works through it with throws at 72 mph across the diamond. A right-handed hitter compact frame with, higher set hands and a high back elbow. Bent knee as he sets up and then is able to get the barrel through the zone. Good student.
