Jaxson Torres is a 2027 RHP/1B/IF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Massapequa, NY who attends Plainedge Senior. Torres works from a medium built frame with strength and athleticism throughout. Primary RHP, started from the 1B side of the rubber displaying a controlled, balanced operation with some deceptive movements throughout. Chest high leg lift before hand break into full deep takeaway and low 3/4 release point with whip. FB up to 85 mph, velocity played up for swing and miss. Ability to manipulate shape of breaker, both CB and SL present with latter up to 2362 rpm flashing late horizontal tilt. CH also sequenced with late fading action. Good velocity ceiling in the future as a '27 prospect. From the IF, worked through the baseball well with smooth actions overall. Can speed up the internal clock a bit but showed feel for the position. Offensively, started from a wider base with a low back elbow. Flashed a simple stride into impact with solid hand speed through the zone, consistently driving baseballs back up the middle with carry present. Posted an exit velo of 84 mph. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
