James Robinson is a 2025 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-10 125 lb. frame from Greenville, NC who attends D H Conley. High-waisted, wirey build with tons of physical projection remaining to be added throughout his frame. 7.74-second runner during the sixty. Primary middle infielder, fields out in front as he plays up on his toes. Deliberate actions that translate well. Accurate throws across the diamond as he is continuing to develop arm strength, up to 69 mph, will improve as he adds strength. Secondary right-handed pitcher, comes from various arm slots with some funk to his delivery. Varies his tempo, keeping hitters off balance. Generated tons of weak contact throughout his outing with his fastball-curveball combo. Fastball sat in the mid-to-upper 60s, working it on both sides of the plate. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an even, balanced stance, and a high-hand set. Compact, line-drive swing plane, working through the middle-of-the-field during his round of BP. Flashed some juice to the gaps. Repeats stroke, keeping things simple. Addition of strength will have ball carry more off the bat. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
