Jonah Willochell is a 2025 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Murrysville, PA who attends Franklin Regional. Medium frame with long limbs, wiry current strength and plenty of room to add more physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.62 seconds. Primary position 1B, working through his reps methodically and showing pretty good feel for the spot. Understands the plays and angles while working with two-handed glove action securing the ball well. Short arm action, changing angles with feeds up to 75 mph across the diamond. Secondary LHP, using chest high leg lift and long stride down the slope to get extended. Whippy arm action from a classic 3/4 angle, repeating release point and competing on the strike zone. Fastball up to 78 mph with some arm side run and heavy sinking action at times. Emerging off speed pitches with a vertical breaker showing 1-7 shape in the low-60s and quality fading change up with deadening spin. RHH starting with a medium stance, good handset and generating solid bat speed. Will get a touch steep in the zone with the barrel but when on plane and in the middle he made the ball jump off the barrel. Intriguing two-way potential here and an excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
