Denver Matthews is a 2024 OF/ with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from New Rochelle, NY who attends New Rochelle. Young, athletic frame with loads of strength remaining to be added throughout frame. Recorded an 8.10-second sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder, continuing to develop defensive skillset. Throws were up to 69 mph from the OF with an uphill release. Carrying momentum through throws more will help with arm strength. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance with a high-hand set with a pull side approach. Short swing path, direct to the ball. Over exaggerated lower half rotation, can simplify movements to reduce moving parts during swing. Very good student.
