Benjamin Pallozzi is a 2027 RHP/3B, SS with a 5-10 172 lb. frame from Ellicott City, MD who attends Calvert Hall College. Medium frame with a sturdy build and strength to his overall actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.96 seconds. Primary position RHP, working with a chest high leg lift over the rubber before dropping heavily into his base in transition. Accelerates through an over the top arm angle, and competes on the zone well. Fastball up to 76 mph with sinking action and vertical curve in the mid-60s with later depth. Also using a deceptive cutter type pitch in the low-70s that missed barrels. Nice three pitch mix. Secondary position infielder, moving methodically through his reps with corner infielder range. Securing the ball cleanly and making plays with midline transfer to standard arm path. Feeds up to 75 mph with nice carry to the bag. LHH with a quite even stance, good hand position and heel lift trigger to get moving. Pull oriented approach, getting the ball airborne with emerging power and more to come. Outstanding student as well.
