Nico Busalacchi is a 2027 1B/RHP with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Loomis, CA who attends Del Oro. Big and strong physical build. Left handed hitter, sets up in an open stance with the bat on his shoulder, coils the lower half with a front leg swing out of it, has some length into his swing with timing points to keep in sync, good showing in game with more control of the barrel and balance in the swing with impact to his pull-side. Primary first baseman, plays well in lower half, everything was clean out front, developing feet but coordinated around the bag and repeated. Right-handed pitcher, loose arm, sink to the heater, some effort, three-quarters slot, short arms the curveball, more to come in terms of control.
