Charlie Bailey is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Rock Hill, SC who attends Northwestern. Excellent frame and overall symmetrical build with some physicality for a young athlete and lots of time to add. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.56 seconds. Primary position RHP, working from the stretch only from the 1B side of the rubber. Comes set with hands at the letters, uses medium leg lift to establish himself over the rubber. Works into a deep arm path slightly behind his body and loads the arm well at foot strike. Generated excellent torque out of mid-section when in line down the slope and as his front-side direction develops he will continue to see jumps in velocity and command. Saw his FB sit in the upper-70's and peaked often at 79 mph, adding in a SL with horizontal shape in the mid-60's and a firmer CH with some fade in the upper-60's. RHH using a wide stance and big load into his backside before transitioning to the front as he gets the bat head in the zone. Generates hand speed through hip turn and flashed some pop when on time. As he matures and gains adjustability with the bat head, he should really produce with the stick. Took reps at 1B and secured the ball well and the arm played very nicely with accurate throws up to 77 mph. Very good student, young talent on the mound and should be a good prospect in the coming years.
