Riley Bundren is a 2029 MIF/RHP/UT with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Nashville, TN who attends Lipscomb Academy. Medium athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength and more to come. Left handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a hand push back load, turns tight with an uphill swing plane, gets too uphill at times, some middle of the field lift. 6.83 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well laterally, first step quickness stood out, soft hands at the ball, moves into his throws well, lower arm slot with some young carry across, all the actions and tools to continue to develop in the middle infield. Also worked out in the outfield and at first base but would be best served by concentrating on the middle infield. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a short and compact arm action and a high leg raise. Threw strikes with a low 70's fastball that had some running action, also threw an upper 50's curveball with some depth and spin.
