2024 High School All State Select Championship (2027-2028 Grads)
Maxim Rocheleau is a 2028 SS/RHP/C with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Livermore, CA who attends Granada. Recorded a 7.76 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame. Primary shortstop that covers ground fine with a longer transfer and a low three- quarter release and has some arm speed. Glove displays a tad late with a decent funnel on the forehead side. Also threw on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a medium leg lift and a quiet operation until the explodes down the slope, works in-line with a medium arm action with a three- quarter arm slot. Works downhill with some involvement in the lower half. Ran the fastball (1870 RPM) up to 83 and showed a good 12-6 curveball (2003 RPM) with sharp break and depth created well. Sequenced well with a feel for the arsenal. Can get a bit out of sync but was still able to be consistently around zone. Right-handed hitter starts from an upright stance with a narrow base and a low hand set. Hands rear back and up on the load with a rhythmic weight rock back and stride into contact. Line drives with a pull-side approach with a slightly uphill swing plane that will get under it at times. Exciting player with good upside.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
