Connor Jaffrey is a 2028 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Oak Park, IL who attends Hinsdale South. Big and physical build with plenty of present strength and room for more. Ran a 7.72 60-yard dash. On the mound, worked from the windup with a simple side-step into a belt-high lift and a longer arm action, delivering from a high 3/4 slot. Fastball sat 80-83 mph with some angle and was paired with a 71 mph curveball and a 74 mph changeup. At first base, showed clean shuffle-and-pivot footwork, two-hand actions on picks, and throws that came out with good carry. At the plate, hits right-handed with an open setup and deep hand load, showing strength to drive the baseball with hard contact when the sequence is in rhythm. Named to the PG Chicago Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
