Ben Delic is a 2029 3B/RHP/OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Oakville. Medium build with good strength for his age. Left handed hitter, hits from a medium base with a slightly open front side, has good rhythm into his swing and stays balanced and directional, very consistent timing, has present bat speed with good leverage at contact, can create some jump to the pull side, very good swing base to continue to develop. 7.76 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, hands work well at the ball, works through it with some footwork, long and loose arm action with some young carry. Also worked out in the outfield and made strong and accurate throws. Took a turn on the mound, works out of the stretch with a well controlled directional delivery, gets downhill well. fastball topped out at 74 mph with some ride up in the zone and good extension out front. Also threw a sweeping slurve type breaking ball. Bat is his tool. Named to the 14U Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
