Joseph Baumbach is a 2025 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-11 135 lb. frame from Fountain, CO who attends Fountain-Fort Carson. Medium size, slender frame. Ran a 7.55 60-yard dash. Left-handed 1B/OF with an average first step in the outfield, developing footwork to and through the baseball fielding it out front, side shuffle to throw with average arm strength and accuracy. Clean funnel of the baseball at first base, squares to the baseball well, developing glove actions with some feel for turning a double play and making accurate throws to bases around the diamond. Also hopped on the mound and threw some strikes out of a three-quarter arm slot with a fastball and curve. Hit from a medium base with a slightly open stance and toe tap timing at the plate. Showed developing strength and bat speed, a level path through the zone and some bat to ball skills with a primary pull side approach. Good Student.
