Matthew Bias is a 2026 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Liberty University Online Academy. Primary LHP with a physical frame and good athleticism. Deceptive delivery and hides ball well throughout the process. Repeatable motions and whole body in sync well. Fastball worked up to 88 with life atop the zone and out of the hand. Fastball would show slight arm side tail at times. Curve mixed in and varied in shape should continue to get better and more distinct. Would land the curve for first pitch strikes. Good overall projection off the mound with more velo in the tank and more polish to the curve coming. Also played outfield moving well to the ball with a quick first step. Fields it out front and works through it with momentum. Easy arm strength out the hand low liner throws and accurate. Was up to 89 from the outfield. Also played first using a two-hand smother. Moves well around the bag fielding everything cleanly. Made quality feeds and was accurate with his throws. Clean pivots and good footwork. Was up to 87 from first. Also ran a 7.03 sixty. Left-handed hitter with a narrow upright base. Showed good bat speed with ability to impact it up the middle and to pull. Swing is powerful with bat speed and power projects a good bit. Produced an exit velo of 91. Named to TP list. Good Student.
