Robert (Tre) Dowd is a 2024 1B/RHP with a 6-2 220 lb. frame from Woburn, MA who attends Woburn. Large, broad shouldered frame with some present strength proportioned throughout build. Ran a 7.92 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball closer to body, deliberate tempo to actions, works into a tight and compact arm action through the back and into release, shows accuracy across the diamond, pivots with balance, arm strength will continue to develop on throws. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance in the box, stays compact with hands and swing path through the zone, gets onto front side early with weight shift at times. Handsy stroke, works on a linear path to the point of contact and remains short through contact, picked up a well-struck knock in live action which he put back up the middle. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
