Blake Mallet is a 2027 INF with an athletic 6-1 175 lb. frame from Foster City, CA who attends San Mateo High School. Started off the event clocking a 7.45 60-yard dash. A primary shortstop. Moves well in the infield, plays low and behind the ball well, short and compact arm action with a quick release, hands work well at the ball and fields the ball cleanly, best suited for second base at present. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance, rocks into his swing, can probably load his swing deeper for better separation and timing, should continue to improve as a hitter as he gets stronger and develops more bat speed.
