Sean Youngerman is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Woodland Hills, CA who attends Chaminade College Preparatory. Features a physical build with strength throughout. Primary right-handed pitcher. Utilizes slight drop and drive delivery that allows for the lower half to get involved well. Creates steep shoulder angle before delivery from a high 3/4 slot. Pairs with slight crossfire landing to create some deception. The fastball topped at 86 mph with life through the zone. Paired with a tight slider that feature short, horizontal break. The offering tunnels well with the heater and generates a fair share of whiffs. A solid two-pitch mix and delivery overall. Also ran a 3.45 60-yard. Moved decent throughout first base drills with fair glove actions. Arm strength plays from the spot. Utilizes crouched set up with hands at the head. Linear bat path produces a fair amount of line drive. Could uses strength more efficiently if lower half got more involved. Good student, as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
