Lukas Cox is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 6-1, 190 lb. frame from Oakdale, CA who attends Oakdale High school. Primary left-handed pitcher with a taller build. Clean three-quarter slot with some ease to the motion, slight drop and drive in the delivery. Fastball sat 78-82 mph with subtle arm-side rune. Pounds his fastball against lefties well, tends to elevate for swing-and-miss. Curveball sat 65-67 mph with some 11-5 break and depth. Also flashed a changeup at 74 mph with subtle fade. Able to generate whiffs and use his arsenal well. Secondary first baseman, fields the ball out front and deep. Showed accurate throws with solid arm strength. Left-handed batter with a simple upright stance and stride in his load. Controls his heat well through contact. Good size at his current frame, showed quick hands through the zone when his timing was consistent. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
