Landon Trauger is a 2029 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 144 lb. frame from Lake Mary, FL who attends Lake Mary Prep. Lean young build with some length to project on. 7.89 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has active and quick feet and works around the ball well, showed lateral range with more quickness to come as he gets stronger, arm works well and was comfortable lowering his slot, projectable defensive tools. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and open stance with a tight hand load and simple stride into contact, short and direct swing path, limited shift into contact, repeated his timing well and made consistent mid field to opposite field contact. Took a turn on the mound, has a simple and fast paced delivery with some coil above the rubber, compact arm action to a low 3/4's arm slot, gets good lower half drive down the mound. Fastball topped out at 75 mph with short run and sink. Also threw a lower 60's curveball with some 11/5 tilt and threw strikes with both pitches.
