Mason Herring is a 2027 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Loveland, OH who attends Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. Slender young athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.46 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has good young footwork and some lateral range, changes slots well and plays well on the move, some arm strength to continue to build on. Left handed hitter, sets up in a straight legged stance with a deep and wrapped hand load, short leg raise trigger, longer swing with a good path to impact, swings hard and gets some extension through the ball, projectable swing. Also pitched, works from a full wind up with a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with best results up in the zone. Slider was a solid pitch with some tightness he could have used more often in tandum with his fastball. Also flashed a developing change up. Excellent student. Named to the Ohio Valley HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.
