Jose David English is a 2025 C/3B, OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Washington, DC who attends DC International. Strong and physical build. Ran the sixty in 7.61 seconds. A primary catcher, he uses a medium arm circle and flashed several clean transfers and releases. His best pop time was recorded at 2.09 seconds. In the outfield his top throw from the outfield grass was clocked at 76 MPH. At the plate, he hits out of a spread, slightly open stance. Does a nice job of getting his hips through on the swing and uses the middle of the field often. Great student in the classroom.
