Drew Furr is a 2028 OF/RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Gulf Shores, AL who attends Gulf Shores High School. Slender young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. 7.21 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, moves to the ball aggressively and fields it cleanly out front, longer arm circle, tends to spin off at release, developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, sets up with a deep hand load and a hanging leg raise trigger, long swing path with a line drive swing plane, developing strength and bat speed. Also pitched, has a clean delivery with a low 3/4's arm slot, some energy at release. Relied mostly on a low 70's fastball that had nice run and sink and created ground ball contact. Flashed a soft curveball he can further develop. Good student.
