Kelvin Jones Jr. is a 2025 1B/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Home School. Medium athletic build with good present strength and more to come. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a short well controlled leg raise trigger, swings from the ground up and is well sequenced, creates bat speed and barrel whip, gets the barrel out front and makes loud contact, projects well as a hitter. 6.87 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, very athletic for that position, has body control and quickness and plenty of range. Also plays the outfield and can be an asset there as well, especially in left field, with his speed and athleticism. Lots of Tre Morgan (LSU/Tampa Bay) in his tool set if he can continue to grow. Exceptional student. Named to the HS All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
