Preston Emmons is a 2028 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends Windermere. Extra tall young build with some present strength and big physical projection. Right handed hitter, hits from a medium base with a lower half coil load into his swing, can be late coming out of his load but does have good rhythm, pretty direct and short swing for his size, gap to gap contact, has obvious strength and leverage when he's on time, projects very well as a hitter. 7.18 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has good fundamental footwork and some bounce to his actions, makes accurate throws with good arm strength for the position. Also worked out in the outfield, showed his raw arm strength but with limited footwork or game actions. Took a turn on the mound, has a slow paced high leg raise delivery with a short arm takeaway and a high 3/4's arm slot, tends to spin open off his front side and lose direction through the plate.. Got some running action on a mid-70's fastball that topped out at 77 mph. Also threw a short downer curveball. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
