At the plate, operates from a taller stance and showed a simple move into launch with hands/lower-half. Worked the barrel on a more direct barrel path showing quality bat/hand speed for his level. Consistent pull side approach, producing hard LD contact into the LC gap. At times path cut across at finish. Consistently balanced and behind the baseball. On the mound, he side stepped into a smaller hip high knee tuck where he counter rotates a bit. Minimal drop/sit in lower-half working more tall/fall down the mound with avg. length and force, falling a bit off to the glove side at finish. Longer arm path out the glove, showing avg. armspeed to a lower 3/4 slot. Ran the FB into the upper 70s, displaying more normal 4S shape but flashing some cut at times. Mixed in a standard upper 60s SL he slowed down his arm on and dropped slot. Also flashed a depthy CH as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
