Eric Swanson is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Wheaton, IL who attends Wheaton Warrenville South. Posted a 6.70. Primary RHP is an extremely projectable high waist build with long levers. Showed effective pitchability and feel for the mound. Very rhythmic in his operation with an easy delivery showing good sync and loose extension downhill. Brings a lot of movement in the zone with his low slot release and full arsenal. Excellent outing punching out seven through three tough frames highlighting great feel to spin and command for three pitches. Worked some OF and has great athletic upside with play making ability. Sits on the approach before working through with good actions through the end game. Glove work is smooth with the lower half intact and very playable arm tool putting throws on the bag with excellent carry project strength. Right-handed hitter showed good intent attacking the zone with some feel for the barrel. Named to the 2021 Uncommitted Main Event Top Prospects List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
