Lance Hersh is a 2024 OF/RHP/UT with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Potomac, MD who attends Winston Churchill High School. Medium frame with compact, athletic frame; ran 60 yard dash in 6.88 seconds. Hits from even stance, late hand hitch into launch, swings it hard with good intent, opposite field approach, barrel tends to lag. Worked out in the outfield, comes in on the ball well and flashes speed, does a nice job of maintaining balance as he works through, clocked up to 81 mph with repeatable overall actions. Also pitched, high 3/4 slot release, fastball topped at 75 mph with straight action, flashed a slow curveball with loop. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
