Jeremy Menhennett is a 2027 C/RHP/SS/OF with a 6-1 191 lb. frame from Semmes, AL who attends St. Lukes. Large, athletic frame with present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, gets tall out of crouch early in process during drills, receives the ball out front and works into a longer/fuller arm action through the backside, big stride with lower half coming out, longer release, shows present arm strength to second base from a higher release point. Similar arm swing during outfield drills, showed confidence with the glove and repeats, nice arm strength on throws. Clean movements in the infield, arm plays on left side at third base, repeats actions and shows balance along with soft hands. Also pitched, higher release point and able to work north/south well, lived low-80s and topped out at 83 mph with command to the glove side. Sharp curveball up to 73 mph with downer shape and played well off of fastball. Right-handed hitter, begins with a medium spread and open base in the box. Quickness to hands, occasionally gets onto front side early following a big stride forward. Gets out front and shows strength to his hands, ball jumps off the barrel when squared and on time. Excellent student.
