2021 Atlantic Coast Prospect Showcase
Reigo Rodriguez is a 2022 3B/RHP/C with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Trinity, NC who attends Trinity. Medium frame with a lean and projectable build. Ran an 8.09 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, range that fits the corner infield position, has some stiffness to his actions at times and developing glove work but showed good arm strength on throws across and projects with some development. Also pitched, clean delivery with good balance working downhill from a higher release, gets some cut to the fastball at times into upper-70s and showed some feel to spin the breaking ball. Righthanded hitter, sets up open and spread, showed some quickness to his hands and handle of the barrel, good intent working to impact and he gets on to the front side hard and showed some ability to elevate with strength to the middle.
