Loren Iwata is a 2024 LHP/OF, 1B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame Keaau, HI. Primary left-handed pitcher with a slender build, has room to add to his frame. Tall and fall delivery from a loose three-quarter slot. Repeats the motion well. Fastball sat 77-80 mph and topped 81 arm-side run with slight arm-side run up in the zone for whiffs. Mixed in a 72-74 mph changeup with tumbling action. Curveball sat 63 mph with some big, downward action. Solid arm speed, works well at the bottom of the zone. Secondary outfielder with good accuracy and solid arm strength. Fields ball well with clean throws. Left-handed hitter with a balanced setup and high handset. Gets extended through the zone with solid bat speed. Sound up-the-middle approach and uses the whole field well. Potential strength gains in store. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
