2025 PG Northern California High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Nathan Werbinski is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Redwood City, CA who attends Carlmont. Long and slender athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Did not run at this event but ran a 6.68 sixty at a previous PG showcase this summer. Primary shortstop on defense, has good foot quickness and gets to the ball well, fields it cleanly, slower release with a glove tap and effort in his throws, has good raw arm strength, third base future actions overall. Left handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a high back elbow load and a simple trigger, gap to gap approach with good extension through contact, has strength in his hands, can drive the gaps, lots of projection with the bat. Took a turn on the mound, has a tall and fall delivery with a long arm takeaway and a 3/4's arm slot, some energy at release. Fastball was in the low 80's and topped out at 84 mph with some running life, best when he's working arm side. Threw a slurve type slider that he landed well and threw often early in counts. Also threw a developing straight change. Good student. Named to the PG Northern California HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.
